Our club organizes service project and activities to assist our community and our various charitable partners. We welcome guests not only at our meetings, but also at our volunteer events. If you’d like to attend a meeting or volunteer with us, please email us at gfwcgainesvillephoenixwc@gmail.com today.
By joining us, you will have the opportunity to work with other members to improve the social, cultural and physical needs in our city or town. In so doing, you will meet and make new friends, expand your knowledge of the needs in our community, and become a better citizen of our community.
If you’d like to donate items, below is a list of items we are currently collecting. Please reach out to a club member to make arrangements for a drop off location near you. All GFWC GA Clubs are accepting the below items.
- Gently used books for our free little libraries across our state.
- We collect pop top caps for Ronald McDonald house.
- We collect used prescription bottles to be reused at the humane societies across the State.
- GFWC GA will pack the pantry in April during our Annual Day of Service to assist Ronald McDonald Houses throughout Georgia – we are collecting: laundry detergent, paper towels, Clorox wipes, individually wrapped snacks, individual packages of macaroni and cheese and ramen, coffee grounds/k cups, and queen sized neutral fleece blankets.
